| Responsibilities: | Summary
Housekeeping personnel are an information center who shall be responsible for cleaning and maintaining needs of facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintains clean and well stocked restrooms.
2. Responsible for keeping all areas in a safe, clean condition.
3. Performs custodial duties after events.
4. Keeps outside areas and front entrance clean and trash picked up.
5. Assists in outside maintenance such as snow and ice removal.
6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
7. During events, constantly walks the facility, with broom and dustpan, looking for trash and/or spills.
8. Assists with conversion duties as assigned.

2. Secures doors entrances, and exits.
3. Secures mixer, barricade, and helps with clearing and controlling aisles.
4. Keeps aisles and other areas clear.
5. Assists in inspection of items prohibited into the Alerus Center.
6. Checks for hazards.
7. Helps enforce Alerus Center policies/procedures.
8. Counts tickets at the end of an event.
9. Keeps unauthorized persons out or restricted areas.
10. Helps strike chairs after events.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Knows Alerus Center parking policies/procedures.
2. Assists patrons quickly and directs them to proper parking areas.
3. Assists motorists with any automotive problems by calling proper service as needed.
4. Patrols area to deter vandalism and bootlegging.
5. Responsible for distributing and collecting equipment used in parking lot.
6. Changes directional and informational signs as needed.
7. Responsible to collect parking fee at gate.

The Dishwasher must maintain a clean and orderly appearance of all food service areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
1. Empties trash in work areas as is necessary throughout the day. Takes all trash to compactor at the end of the night when closing.
2. Washes pots and pans used throughout the day as they are placed by the sinks. Stores them in an orderly fashion in their proper place when finished. Washes china, glassware and flatware throughout meal service times. Stores them properly in an organized fashion.
3. Keeps storage areas, including coolers, clean and organized. Keeps back dock clean of refuse. Hoses down periodically. Sweeps and mops work areas and coolers at the end of every night when closing.
4. When handling any foodstuffs, is sure hands are clean and free of chemicals.
5. Wears proper, clean uniforms at all times, including hat.
6. Any task issued by management will be considered part of job.
