As part of our Homecoming Week traditions, the University of North Dakota will recognize seven of its most distinguished alumni at this year's Alumni Honors Banquet. The banquet will be held at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks on Thursday, October 1. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for a social hour. The dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Please register by Wednesday, September 9.

The Sioux Award for Distinguished Achievement & Leadership, the highest accolade bestowed by the UND Alumni Association & Foundation, will be presented to five exceptional alumni. Established in 1962, this prestigious award has recognized community leaders, high-achieving professionals, and alumni who have dedicated their lives in service to others.
This year's recipients are:
- Sam Anderson, ’69, ’71
- Dr. Stacie Bell, ’91
- Tom, ’72, & Konnie (Peach) Middleton, ’75
- Randy Hatzenbuhler, ’85
In addition to the Sioux Award for Distinguished Achievement & Leadership, we are proud to honor two remarkable individuals with the Young Alumni Achievement Award. These individuals have made significant contributions and achieved notable success in a short time since their graduation from UND.
