25th Anniversary Giveaway

Oak View Group, the provider of Venue Management, Food Services & Hospitality, and Partnerships at Alerus Center, is excited to celebrate 25 years of entertainment, community, and unforgettable moments with a special 25th Anniversary Giveaway Series, featuring 25 days of giveaways beginning January 17.

As a thank-you to the community that has supported the venue since opening its doors on February 10, 2001, the Alerus Center will give away 25 prizes over 25 consecutive days. The giveaway series features items generously donated by local and regional partners, as well as tickets to upcoming Alerus Center events.

“For 25 years, the Alerus Center has grown and been sustained by an incredible community,” said Anna Rosburg, Alerus Center General Manager. “Through both the highs and the challenges, this venue has remained a point of pride—driving our regional economy, bringing people together to create memories, and enhancing the quality of life for residents across the region. This giveaway series, made possible by our valued partners, is a small way to thank our fans and community for being part of that story.”

Participants only need to enter once to be eligible for all giveaways. If a participant wins a prize, they will not be eligible to win additional prizes during the giveaway series. Participants can enter now through January 16 at 11:59pm. Winners will be contacted via email or phone, and announced daily beginning January 17 on the Alerus Center’s social media pages.

1. ELIGIBILITY

The Alerus Center 25th Anniversary Giveaway Series (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to entrants who are legal residents of North Dakota, Minnesota, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, or Ontario and who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees of Oak View Group (“Sponsor”), the Alerus Center, prize providers, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, as well as the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible to enter or win.

The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws.

 

2. HOW TO ENTER

The Sweepstakes begins on January 7, 2026 at 12:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) and ends on January 16, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST (the “Entry Period”). Winners will be announced daily on Alerus Center social media beginning January 17, 2026.

To enter, participants must complete the online entry form available at www.AlerusCenter.com  during the Entry Period. Limit one (1) entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes.

One entry places the participant in the drawing for all prizes offered during the Giveaway Series. Once an entrant is selected as a winner and awarded a prize, they will be removed from eligibility for all remaining drawings.

Sponsor’s computer shall be the official timekeeper for all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Entries generated by automated means or which subvert the entry process will be void. Incomplete or inaccurate entries are void.

 

3. DRAWINGS

Prizes will be awarded via random drawings conducted on or about each giveaway date throughout the Giveaway Series. One (1) prize will be awarded per giveaway day, for a total of twenty-five (25) prizes.

Potential winners will be notified via email and/or telephone at Sponsor’s discretion and must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification. Failure to respond within the specified time may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected at Sponsor’s discretion.

Canadian residents must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question without assistance to be declared a winner.

Odds of winning any prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZES

A total of twenty-five (25) prizes will be awarded during the Giveaway Series. Prizes include, but are not limited to, event tickets, gift cards, services, merchandise, accommodations, and venue rental vouchers provided by the Alerus Center and participating prize partners.

Approximate retail values vary by prize. All prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty, express or implied. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Specific event dates, seat locations, and prize details are subject to availability and Sponsor discretion. Events are subject to change or cancellation.

 

5. ADDITIONAL TERMS

By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Sponsor and Released Parties are not responsible for technical failures, human error, or other issues that may interfere with the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or other factors compromise the integrity of the promotion.

7. PUBLICITY

By accepting a prize, winners grant Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, photograph, voice, and city/state or province of residence for promotional purposes in any media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

 

8. TAXES

All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes associated with prize receipt are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will issue a Form 1099-MISC to U.S. winners where required.

 

9. LIABILITY

By entering, entrants release Sponsor, the City of Grand Forks, prize providers, and their respective affiliates from any liability related to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize.

 

10. USE OF DATA

Sponsor will collect and use personal information in accordance with its privacy policy. By entering, entrants consent to the collection and use of their information for Sweepstakes administration and marketing purposes.

 

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, except where prohibited by law.
